Weak Flush Trouble...
2/4 NL on PokerStars
Hero($520) is BB with 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG ($310) MP2 ($480) Several posters and limpers, Hero checks in BB. Flop: T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Pot = $26 Checks to MP2. MP2 bets $12. Hero calls. UTG calls. Turn: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Pot = $62 Checks to MP2. MP2 bets $20. Hero calls. UTG calls. River: A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero.... Ok, so I must protect against the high club on the turn. I think I should have checkraised the turn. I'm basically looking for what line I should take starting on the turn. I've included the information about afte the turn so we try to guess how the other players would react to the check raise. Assuming I checkraise to $80, get a call from each player, whats my river play? What if UTG calls and MP2 pushes? |

Re: Weak Flush Trouble...
If anyone pushes after the flush comes, you must fold. It's that simple.
I would just bet the turn rather than planning for a check-raise. And then bet the river. And fold to a large raise either time. If you check-raise the turn and get calls, I would either check the river, or throw out a medium bet on the river ($80 again.) If you check-raise and get reraised, that is the clearest proof that you are dead and must fold. |
