Poker ruining my enjoyment of other televison
Watching Law and Order SVU last night, the show started w/ a hold-em game w/ Fred Savage from Wonder Years as one of the players. He opens for $20 and 2 seats later someone raises him $10 more. Right before the grizzly murder is discovered, I think to myself, "I'd come over the top on this obvious sign of weakness"....I think there can be such a thing as too much poker.

Re: Poker ruining my enjoyment of other televison
I was watching the OC and one of the guys lost a few hundred playing Holdem in Vegas, but that was his plan because he wanted to look like a bad player to suck the other guys in. Then he promptly won it all back. Its just that easy!
Ill have to try that one day! |

Re: Poker ruining my enjoyment of other televison
sounds like a limit hold'em game, so it's hardly a sign of weakness.

Stinky,
Unclench those butt cheeks and relax..just trying to have a little fun during a slow day at work, not discuss Fred Savage's L/NL prowess. |

I'm glad to hear you watch The OC. There are not many of us, at least not many that admit it. I am one of maybe 4 from the OOT forum that watches. Happy Chrismakuh.

I am also a fan and I remember that episode. I was thinking the same thing. What a bunch of BS.
