I played this hand with a friend ...
... we highly disaggreed on how to play the hand - so I'm really looking forward for some other opinions.
Paradise: $2/$4 We open-limps (5 off the button) with QhQc - 2 other players limp. The cut-off (a very good tight/aggrssive player) raises. The button folds - the blinds calls - we call - one limper calls - one limper folds (!?). 5 players and 11 small bets in pot. FLOP: [ 8c 3s Tc ] The blinds checks - we bet - the limper calls - CO raises - the blinds folds - we call - the limper calls. 3 players and 8.5 big bets in pot. The TURN is checked around. RIVER: [ 8c 3s Tc 8s ] [ 2c ] We check - so does the limper. CO bets - we call - the limper folds. How do you like our play ? Feel free ... How do you read CO ? Any comments appreciated ! Re: I played this hand with a friend ...
First of all, with QQ I would've raise preflop. Failing to do that, now you have a oppurtunity to limp raise preflop, but you didn't. On the flop, you have a perfect opportunity to check raise the preflop raiser, but you didn't. On the turn, you then give a free card. I think there are many better alternatives to play this hand...
