Re: Top Ten Heavy Metal Albums of All Time
Man, I've got to say, I never imagined I would ever see a thread mentioning Manowar on 2+2.
Yea, they are very over the top and cheesy (almost all their songs are about knights, dragons, and being "true" metal), listening to them still brings a smile to my face. They keep getting record deals cause they have quite a following over in Europe. I'd like to see them live but they don't tour the states much at all, mostly overseas. "Defender" is a great song that has a voiceover by Orson Welles. |

Re: Top 10 \"old school\" metal albums
[ QUOTE ]
How do you have mostly all 70's albums and some 80's but then put Metalica Black on the same list? All of your choices are great albums. Great. But Metallica Black does not belong on a list with the words, "Old School" in it. [/ QUOTE ] This was the album where they stopped playing metal altogether, no way it belongs on any top ten list. |
