Did I get the maximum out of this Bluffer
1/2 blinds 100 max buy in live game at a casino.
Hero ($300) is in UTG+1 with K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and limps in. Two other limpers to the button($250) who raises to $9 Folds to me. This guy has raised his button the last five orbits so I am pretty sure my hand dominates his. I decide to raise to $25. This accomplishes two things. First I am trying to isolate the button and second if I get to show the hand, people at the table will see I limp raise with a hand other than AA/KK giving me more action in the future. Folds to the button who calls. Flop: ($57) 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I am pretty sure I have the best hand and I bet out for $25 very quickly and emphatically. I want him to think this is a bluff and play back at me. He does and makes it $50 more to go.(pot: $157) I am 99% sure that I have the best hand and at best he has an underpair (maybe tens) but more than likely is on a stone bluff. Knowing this, would you push the rest of your stack in here (put him all in for 150 more on top of his raise to 75 making it 225 for me to push ), or try to milk more out of him on later streets, but also giving him the opportunity to hit a miracle and draw out? Results in white: I pushed all in and he folded without hesitation Thanks for your response Falker |

Re: Did I get the maximum out of this Bluffer
I would call and check-raise the turn all in. You would make another 50 that way usually, though sometimes he would suck out on you with trips or two pair made on the turn or river if he checks through. That wouldnt happen often enough IMO to make the play - EV.

Why would it be a bad thing?
