Re: Set against 3 flush flop!
flop: id cap.
turn: id lead and call down if MP2 still says hes got the flush. is this a reasonable line or am i thinking too much like this is a .5/1 hand? |

Re: Set against 3 flush flop!
do NOT give credit for the flopped flush, and play accordingly. You will show a profit this way. I think you played it fine though, maybe MP2 has it.

Re: Set against 3 flush flop!
If they have the flush then so be it. You have 6 outs on the turn and nine outs on the river.
I think you are around 32% to boat even if they unlikey flopped a flush. SFWUSC |

You have 6 outs on the turn and nine outs on the river. [/ QUOTE ] That's 7 and 10. Memorize this one. |

Re: Set against 3 flush flop!
Cap the flop. 2-1 is more than adequate odds against a made flush. But they may just be betting the top two hearts separately or even something else.
The rest is fine. |

Re: Set against 3 flush flop!
yeah, in addition to filling up you'll also improve your hand if you make quads.

Re: Set against 3 flush flop!
I don't quite understand why you wouldn't raise the turn. I'd imagine that you're frequently ahead here to an overpair held by the BB, and a big heart held by MP2.
What do others think about raising on the turn? Zephyr |

Re: Set against 3 flush flop!
I think given the action, there is definitely a chance that there is a made flush out there. Putting your opponents sqaurely on the hands you beat is going to cost you money here. I'd call down after the flop unless I boat up.
