I'm going to try and go one better on this. I've ordered Dragon Naturally Speaking Pro, should arrive this week. I'm going to try and voice-play 4 tables. I tried it with the Preferred, but Preferred doesn't have the macro capabilities of Pro. If I get it working well I'll share my "secrets".

Bump for great post, but a few bugs/issues:
1) it's great for 4-tabling, but still not for 6-8 tables on dual monitors, because the top-left, bottom-right, etc. location buttons always 'home' to the left monitor...no problem when all 4 of your tables are on your left monitor, but useless if you have some tables on your right monitor. 2)The directional buttons don't always work...i.e. maybe it's just my dual monitor setup, but left doesn't always go to the table on the immmediate left of the current one, etc. Maybe someone with programming abilities can fix these issues, b/c if they do, i'm NEVER using a mouse again; truly great post. |

I just installed it. I also have dual monitors and had to change some coördinates to make it all work. For those who don't know how to do that:
- open Window Spy. You can do this by right clicking on the H-icon. - Set up the windows of your poker client as you like them. - Activate one and put your mouse somewhere where there is no overlap or buttons ( I put it in the place where the pot is). - read the coördinates of your mouse in the window spy behind the sentence On Screen. - Right click the H-icon and choose "edit script". - copy the coördinates in the place of the coördinates that are already printed for the specific buttons. - Do the same for the other windows. - Save the script, rightclick the H-icon and choose "reload this script". I can now choose the right screen with the 7 (upper left), 9 (upper right), 1 (down left), 3 (down right) numbers. It would be very easy to add a couple of screens, just copy and past part of the script and make sure you get coördinates of places where there is no overlap. Peter |

When the window becomes active and it's your turn, isn't the part where you can type in the amount active by default?
If it is, you can just type the amount. If it isn't you can add a Key that sends the mouse to that place and then type in. Just edit it in the script. Peter |

I don't have a dual-monitor setup, or I would do this myself. If anybody builds a solid script for 8 tables, either post here or email to me and I can put it up on the site (my email is toad@onlinepokerfaq.com). -Toad |
