Okay, let me know if this is too unnecessary to post, but I just love the action and think you will get a kick out of it.
I just sat down, auto-posted, and got ready for some crazy dealings: Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $0.5. MP1 posts a blind of $0.5. UTG calls, Hero (poster) checks, MP1 (poster) checks, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO raises, Button calls, SB calls, BB folds, UTG calls, Hero calls, MP1 calls. Flop: (13 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 players) SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, MP1 calls, CO raises, Button calls, SB folds, UTG folds, Hero 3-bets, MP1 folds, CO calls, Button calls. Turn: (11.50 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero bets, CO calls, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, CO calls, Button caps, Hero calls, CO calls. Um... He seemed to wake up at the sight of the turn 9, so i'm guessing something like K9s if he has any kind of standards? His disregard for the flush draw coming in at the river makes me think fishy full house maybe. 97o? Or maybe an inadvisably slowplayed 44 that he made the boat with at the turn?

Yeah, muck this preflop. Don't post the first time around UTG+1, and fold when it's raised to you.
Anyway, he has 94o or something cool like that. Rob |

Normally I would expect the button to have an A9 or 94 or 44 and have made the boat. But given the way the post is written I'm guessing that the button has a 4 with a non-A overcard - so I will say Q4o. He woke up after the second 9 hit the board because Hey! He had 2 pair!

This is definitely a fold PF for me, but I wasn't paying attention and just posted, position unseen.

I think that CO raised with Aces preflop, and made a set on the flop, and a better full house on the turn, a la KGB in Rounders, except KGB didn't raise preflop, and this isn't no limit.
"Aices full, Mike". Am I right? |

Results in white below:
Button shows [ 9d, 4s ] a full house, Nines full of fours. Hero shows [ 9h, As ] a full house, Nines full of aces. Hero wins 30.5BB from the main pot with a full house, Nines full of aces. CO had QQ, which is why it was raised PF. Should I have thrown this away to the PF raise? Or, was having 5 potential callers in good enough for implied odds? |
