Default Re: This happened to me last nite. What are the odds?

there are now 300 viewers of this obvious bad-beat story. yet, there are those who constantly claim to be appalled by them. i say people like to read'em, as i do. maybe there should be an entire forumn for nothing but bad-beats.

hey, i got a good one...not poker related, as this was before i got into playing poker. here goes:

me and 3 buddies at a riverboat gaming establishment in Indiana(known from the moment of this beat, and for all times, as "the devil's boat". we were playing craps for several hours, having loads of fun, but losing the proverbial shirts off our backs. we decided to wrap it up, and go have a nice dinner.

so, myself, and one of the other friends(the 3rd was flat broke) decided on our way out, to play one round of roullette. i placed $50 on black, he on red. whoever won would buy dinner/drinks for all 3 of us. stinking ball lands on.....yep, GREEN!

so, we calmly decided to play one more. this time for $100. same deal. the stinking ball landed on GREEEEEEN again! 2 rolls in a row!

oh, and to top it off, when we went to get a cab, we missed the cutoff time by like 10 minutes to catch one. the cab company apparently doesn't run past 2:00 AM there. so, we had to shell out like $150 for a friggin' LIMO!

good times!

cheers!
