Thanks for the information. We've escalated this to Prima and will advise once we have a response from them.

Just an update on this for you Izaak, sorry it's taken so long. We can confirm that this is "seat rotation" related bug and is going to be fixed in the next release of the software which will be in the very near future.

It happens when in the miniview size table and you have preferred seating selected. The blinds are paid by the correct players, however, the dealer button doesn't follow correctly. This is especially evident when playing miniview without selecting preferred seating and then turning it on, as once you move the dealer button will continue to move as it was and not re-adjust according to your seating preference.

Thanks for the update. I play using the mini-view (and have expressed in other threads how I really like it) and tried the preferred seat to make things easier when multi-tabling (unfortunately, it seems that the max I can get is 3 tables going due to a lack of players/tables at 2/4 full and the only 3/6 table already being full). I quickly saw that I didn't like the preferred seating, as it was messing up the button and blinds. I felt that the correct players were posting and everything, but it was way too difficult to try figuring out (and remembering) my position and that of the other players. Played with the preferred seating for a few orbits and then quickly turned it off.

Please let us know when this is fixed (the preferred seat working smoothly with the mini view). Personally, I'd rather the option rotate the table so that my seat (regardless of the seat #) is always in the spot I picked. For example, I might be sitting in seat #4 at one table, seat #7 at another, and seat #3 at a third, but on my monitor all 3 seats are in the upper right hand corner of the mini view.

I don't believe i have miniview (though I don't know) but I have had the same problem with the dealer button after trying to sit in a preferred seat. I have the option for "normal" or "large" but nothing happens when I hit either. Plus I have to jump between tables the whole time as they don't pop up when an action is required. I can't even toggle using Alt Tab! I have to constantly click on the little table icons (maybe that is the miniview feature that is being mentioned) to get from one to the other. Given that the software really makes you play fast it's hard work even two-tabling short-handed. I play on an old monitor ( I think it's only 13 inch or so) at 800*600 which allows me to see one table at a time that's it. Plus I have a problem with the lobby tab. It sometimes won't let me see HOldem for instance if it starts on Omaha but if I exit after clicking the HOldEm tab and then log on again I can get the table list up.

Hey, while I'm at it I wish there was an option for bet/raise not bet/call as "raise any" is too aggressive for me but sometimes I want to take the initiative if no one else has. Plus if you're playing big bet it's annoying that you have to punch in your bet and then punch in "bet". You should be able just to hit enter. IN general short-cut keys are welcome to me as they cut down on mouse-work.

Ok there you go. Views of a new user.

TGC

Just to advise that I had a problem with the button location in mini-view 2 days ago without having (to my knowledge) a preferred seat selection (I was multi-tabling and was sat in different places on each).

I didn't notice anything wrong yesterday so perhaps its an intermittent thing.

I have had it do this in regular view, although I believe it adjusted itself after a few hands. Real confusing though. I was using seating preference at the time.
