Re: What are your favorite lines spoken at the table?
My first ever B+M Game
the flop is checked 4 ways I hit a straight on the turn which is checked to me on the button and bet. Guy across the table says "he senses weakness" in an almost jokingly way. I say nothing but I go from: poker face : fake smile : poker face. they all call . |

Re: What are your favorite lines spoken at the table?
Happened the other night. 4-8 Casino Arizona. Guy to my left stuck around 300 in the 1 and a half I was there. Says to the lady to his left. "This game is all luck you got to play no limit for it not to be luck.

Re: What are your favorite lines spoken at the table?
playing in a home tourney. with many novices. board is paired with flush draw on the board. river comes and the third flush card comes out. one guy goes all in the other calls. first guy turns over a flush. other one flips his cards, and says, "i got a danny tanner, also known as a full house."
i was drinking a soda, and i was laughing so hard it came out my nose. [censored] had everyone laughing for the rest of the nite. |

Re: What are your favorite lines spoken at the table?
Overheard during a 5/10 game at Turning Stone, from a twenty-something guy who had already stated that he had been attempting for the past few months to make a living playing live: "I don't play online because of all of the bad beats."

Re: What are your favorite lines spoken at the table?
"You can't bring that no limit mentality to a limit game" after calling 3 bets pre-flop with Kx off and people complaining at him for staying with those cards.

Re: What are your favorite lines spoken at the table?
Live tournament in London. I had raised a loose player out of lots of pots (with the best hand each time). I raise UTG with JJ, and he calls off all his stack with 85o. After rivering two pair he says:
"Sometimes you need to do these things to change your luck". He goes on to win the tournament. |
