Should I have continued raising on the turn? Or was I right to just call there?

I know that the river put a 4 card straight on board but I've made this "good" lay down too many times to discover my opponent was bluffing with two overcards.
Its a call that I make on the internet more often than I'd like. Especially heads up. This is a laydown that is very easy for me to make playing live. ive just been wrong to so many times online.
What do you guys think? How bad was this?
