Any Way To Do This Different
I bought one of those Christmas packages from Pokerroom. Got 2 tickets to the 50 + 4 tourney and a 22 + 2 tourney. Highest buy in I have ever played online was 20. I did not know what to expect as far as skill level but found myself sitting pretty.
Blinds were 400 and 800 Big Stack had 19000 or so I had 11000 or so sitting 4th out of 46 left Top 20 get paid UTG I miniraise with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Guy in MP1 with 5500 or so calls Guy in MP3 with 9700 makes it 3000 I push all in because I dont want to face two players. First guy folds and other calls. He has KK. Flop is Q K Q. And I am down to 2200. Next hand I get 10 10 and go all in. Caller has AA this time and I am out. From 4th of 46 to out in 2 hands. My question is should I have just called and went from there? Or did I have to do what I did to get the 3rd guy out of the hand? Even if I folded after the flop I would have had a decent stack to work with. I always play to win though and all I could think was if I win that hand I am chip leader. What would you have done? |

Re: Any Way To Do This Different
You played it correctly. Anytime you can get all of your chips in the pot when you have the best of it you played the hand correctly. And you had to push with TT shortstacked.
