I was pretty sure about this hand, until the raise on the turn. Should I bet the river here, or assume he hit a set?

I am kinda against your line here. I think you're ahead here more often than you realize. You could be up against A-4, K-4, or 7-4(less likely), or 7-7(well you're behind to 7-7).. I don't give credit for a set of 4s yet so I bet the river and if raised I call it down, reluctantly. I still think you're ahead here often enough to make the river bet okay.

I'm not scared of AA or KK, so I either put him on a set of 7s or a lower two pair.

Could be wrong though.

You played it great. You can't really bet the river after he's capped. He may have a dodgy 2-pair but it's unlikely. Nice hand.
