Finally I've decided to buy some books about this fascinating game. Could you please rate these books for med and help me out with what to invest in. It's a JUNGLE out there :-)

Re: A few Omaha books
Fang, I have it and I would not recommend Warren's book. Most of it is centered around teaching you how to read the board! And yes, it is focused on Hi/Lo, although it is somewhat vague at times what game he is talking about.
2 Ciaffone books are somewhat short but really good material. I don't have Reuben "How good is your PLO?", but since he was apart of the other book with Ciaffone, it should be good. |

Re: A few Omaha books
I didnt think the Ciaffone/Rueben book was good at all for Omaha, but I have already read a few books. The PLO chapter was rambling and I don't think it really had a point, the split game section was worthless.

Re: A few Omaha books
Thanks for all answers, I've just ordered the Pot Limit/No Limit book by Ciaffone and I'll try to get the Omaha poker: The action game next. I'll stay away from the Ken Warren book

Re: A few Omaha books
You forget "Science of poker" by Mahmood N. Mahmood. The best material on omaha after the texts by ciaffone/reuben (read them all, they are all good).

Re: A few Omaha books
Does this book deal with O8 or O high, or maybe both of them?
