Default Rebuy Immediately?

Rebuy Immediately?

In a multi-rebuy tournament is it correct to rebuy imediately at the beginning of the first round? The cost of the rebuy and amount of chips received are the same as buy-in. What about single rebuy tournaments?

I read this was correct sometime ago (Susuki's book?) and have been doing it regularly

Yes. Rebuy/Addon whenever you can. You want to be able to acquire as many chips as possible when you hit a big hand.

Yes - Rebuy immediately.

You want those chips available to take advantage of your cards. If you have the nuts and callers, wouldn't you want those extra chips?

You are alo making your stack a lot deeper relative to the blinds early on. An add-on, may only be worth 5-10BB, but an early rebuy may be worth 50-100bb depending on the structure.
