The longer they stay out the better it is for the defendant. So since they stayed out for longer than the time it took to reach a verdict I'd say that's a decent sign for Peterson. The fact that they actually reached a verdict and aren't hung, though, is a bad sign for the him. I guess I will agree with you and say they came up with the death penalty.

What I'd heard was that the jury had requested some photos introduced by the prosecution, and the analysis of that was that there were some jurors trying to convince others to vote for death.

Who really cares about this case?
I heard that there are more "journalists" from the major networks in Redwood City than in all of Iraq. I see they have their priorities straight. [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]

Maybe you guys can help me. I haven't been paying too much attention to this case, but why did this murder case become national news? There are tons of other murders in this country which barely make the local news. Were the Pertersons celebrities or something?
