Re: poker in pittsburgh area
You're a little too early for a B & M game. Pittsburgh just recently has approved casinos. I live in the area and can let you know if there are any house games going if you'd be comfortable with that.
The games I find range from low buy in drunken NL cash games to 5-10 limit. Although I would hate to have someone else there that knows anything about poker (jk- these games are very very soft) you can PM me if you are interested. |

Whats this? Pittsburgh and Casinos?
Please provide more information and a link if possible. Sounds too good to be true. |

Re: poker in pittsburgh area
The casinos that are going to be located in the Pittsburgh area will only have slot machines to start out with as that is all the licenses are approved for. Very similar to the situation in Delaware and West Virginia. No luck for us for at least a few years before the state might even consider poker as another option

Re: poker in pittsburgh area
I wasn't sure of the details on the casinos. All I really knew was that Bettis was caught up in some "scandal" because his business partner applied for a license or something like that. Thanks for clarifying.

Re: poker in pittsburgh area
Gentlemen-
There are floating semi-legal games in the Pittsburgh area. I've played in them, and they do not seem too shady, nor too hard. PM me and I'll be happy to provide you with the info I've got. Jeff |
