Default I hate folding like this.

Hi, I just switched from multitabling 3/6 to 1-2 tabling sh 5/10.

Button is Lag-38/16 ag 2.8
sb is loose passive.
I'm BB, the converter messed up.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $5.
MP calls, CO folds, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, SB calls, BB folds, Hero (poster) calls, MP calls.

Ugh, the SB call is killin' me. If he folds then I definitely call the turn, thinking that if a club hits the river I'm scooping half the time.

i think you need to make a decision, either
A, on the flop your hand is good cause u are against overcards/flush draw, and cap
B, you are against a big pair and probably a flush draw, have very few outs, muck

is it your thought someone was in there with a 5? unlikely, so probably someone made a flush, with a club higher than yours, and at that point a fold is mandatory

I probably would fold this preflop.
