I am confused about the minimum amount of a reraise in NL games. If the first player bets $5 (after the flop) and the next player makes a $10 raise to $15, can a third player make another $10 raise to $25? Or must the third player make a $15 raise to $30? Thanks.

$10 to $25. Each bet simply has to be as big or bigger than the last one.

Any amount you want. As big or bigger than the previous bet/raise.

As big or bigger than the previous bet/raise. [/ QUOTE ] Which is it? As big as the previous raise, or the previous bet? In my example, the previous raise was $10 and the previous bet was $15. |

$10 to $25. [/ QUOTE ] In my local public casino, the rule is that each raise must be at least double the previous bet. Therefore, the next player would not be allowed to bet $25 since that is less than twice the previous bet of $15. I was wondering which minimum raise rule is most common. |

[/ QUOTE ] the first player bets $5, the next player calls $5 and raises $10 (his min raise was $5), then the 3rd player has to call $15 and can raise by $10 or more. the minimum raise is the amount of the previous raise, or the bet amount if there's a bet that hasn't yet been raised. |
