Re: I ain\'t chicken. Dumb maybe, but not chicken.
Read on SB is critical, no doubt about that -- but absent a read I don't cap the flop. I don't think it's atrocious (you're only losing a small bet if you're behind). The SB checks on the turn, so I'm guessing he had Q9 or worse. CO could have a king, but also could be waiting to raise the turn.
What I would really want to know is how the SB and CO reacted to your turn bet. If either raises you're probably toast. If they both call, you unfortunately don't know if they hold a small 9 or king-rag. If they do hold a nine, it would extremely passive and wrong for them to simply call your turn bet -- but at micro-limits you see it all. I'd prefer to call the 3-bet on the flop, and raise the turn. A 3-bet on the turn would mean set to me, unless I had a read that SB was aggressive. If my raise got one to fold, I'd show it down against either the SB or CO, but not both of them. Disclaimer: I'm still learning too. |

hi
i'd cap preflop. you have position on the 3-bettor and could possibly (but unlikely) fold CO. i don't mind the flop cap, as it's unlikely that SB has a 9 given his preflop action (CO worries me more). when checked to on the turn, you must bet it. |

Re: I ain\'t chicken. Dumb maybe, but not chicken.
Tough hand. Flop is good as you want to get CO out. Once he calls 2 bets twice, you don't have much going for you. The best I can see is a chop between you and the SB, with the SB possibly freerolling you. If CO raises the turn and the SB coldcalls, then I might tap out. If the SB folds I would want to see a river (looking for a 9 or King). If the CO just calls and the SB check/raises then you are getting freerolled, or he already has a boat with KK.

Any read on SB? Pokertracker stats on him would be helpful to see what he's raised preflop with in the past.
I vote for betting the turn and calling a raise. I put SB on AA or AK. BTW - Pokertracker has you autorated as TA-A |
