Here's one. I spent 5 hours and beat out 275 people to win 1 of 2 seats to the 4 seat WPT Bahamaa qualifier. The next day 250 entered for 4 seats to the event. I finished 12th out of the 250. 10 hours of work and nothing to show, now that sucked.

I'm suprised the highest percentage I finish in is 4th in the STT's. It's becoming a joke, it is a horrible feeling, knowing you are 1 spot away from not only winning your buyin back, but getting a profit.

One question: Why do you play 2 table tournaments? It seems like you only have a 22.2% (4/18) chance to win $ versus a 1 table 33.3% (3/9) chance in a STT.

The payout is much higher, and there are still many people who do not understand MTT or 2-table tourney strat, the goal is to survive and when it gets heads up and you have a severe chip deficit, turn it up hope to get lucky.
I have been playing 2-table $5+.50 SNG's and pretty much killin them... i have made about $200 (yes 40 buy ins) playing these SNG's after only staring them this 1 week ago today, (last wednesday) in the last week i've played 40 of these 2 tables and done quite well...

Now i'm wondering how should i go about moving up? Should i start dabling in the $10+1 on Pokerstars on friday and saturday night and other weeknights? What adjustments must i make?

I think my little saga that i just finished kinda sucked. Started on Step 1 of the Party poker STEPS tournament. didnt get to move on the first and second times. make it on the third attempt. On the second lvl i bust out in fifth with AQs vs 66. I get to play it again and i passed on to step 3. Pass both 3 and 4 on the first tries. And then i get to step five where i claw my way through 14 people only to bust out in 5th when i moved in short stacked on the button with kq and get called by the bb with aj. about 14 hrs of play, -36 bucks.

I think the worst is a bubble finish in a satalite tourney. at least in a regular tourney you can say you needed to take chances to win real money, more than just a little more than your buy in but in a sat it's like bubbling in a winner take all tourney, at least it feels that way for a bit.
