i think the only problem with how this hand was played is not allowing yourself anyway out against the extremely tight player.

why bet half of your stack on that flop? you are going to be forced to call an all in from him when you know youre beat every single time, (exactly what happened).

im not necessarily saying check the flop in this spot regularly, although i think that would have been the better play against this rock. what do you care if theres a chance a higher card peels off? youve got one of them. Q or K on the next card isnt particularly likely.

you know hes going to bet this flop with an overpair, and check or bet differently with an underpair.

let him dictate your action in this instance.
