Default easy fold?

no reads. CO poster just sat down.

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $10.
UTG folds, MP folds, CO (poster) checks, <font color="CC3333">Hero raises</font>, SB calls, BB calls, CO calls.

Flop: (8 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="blue">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="CC3333">BB bets</font>, <font color="CC3333">CO raises</font>, Hero...

how easy a fold is this?
is it bad that i really didn't want to lay this down?
am i thinking like a fish here?

It is a fairly easy fold.

The reasoning is because even if you are ahead, and it doesn't look like it given the action, your opponents most likely have strong draws to beat you. This combined with the fact that you have no implied odds and are not closing the action makes this a fairly easy fold.

Did you consider folding this preflop? I think I fold this after any limper, even if he is posting. If the blinds were super-tight, I might give it a go.

It would be hard not to throw this away on the flop. 3-betting and folding to a cap might have some merit, but I think I'd just rather fold and move on.

Default Results - nothing exciting

i did fold and 1 opponent had AJ and another had 99. phew. usually a super easy fold for me, but i second guessed myself for some reason
