Re: ACE - rag suited in SB with a button raise
Fold -- not even close.
My default when sitting down at the table is to play tighter than usual, get a feel for who I'm up against. That said, this is normally a fold anyway, but if I learn that the button is an aggressive auto-stealer from there, then I might 3-bet. 90% of the time, though, this is a fold. |

Yeh I fold, avg steal for players at 5/10 is only 10-15% they don't even know to raise crappy hands on the button.

What about in the 10/20? Im 3betting here a fair bit and I think it might be a leak. Thoughts?

[/ QUOTE ] if all you know about a player is he's seated at 5/10 that's a reasonable estimate but if all you know is he's seated at 5/10 AND he's just attempted a steal then a better estimate is > 25% Axs definitely playable in that spot. |

If your opponent is a steal-with-any-two type, then pop him back, sure. But against the garden variety somewhat tricky LAGish 10/20 player, and you're out of position, BB yet to act, I think it's a fold. I'm open to being shown I'm wrong, though. B. |
