Default Roomba Robotic Vacuum Cleaner

My wife just got one of these as an early Xmas present. This thing is awesome!!! The biggest surprise in home furnishings since the George Foreman Grill

My wife showed me an ad for one of these a couple of months ago and my first impressions were that it was probably pretty gimicy, but after seeing it work I'm quite impressed. The units cost roughly $250.

The problem is I never can see the floor. Too much crap on the ground.

I guess I should have expected that. I'm just a satisfied customer, with no affliation with Roomba. Besides if I was a sales rep for the company, how likely would I be to keep my job if the best place I can advertise is a poker forum

My mother just got one. I joke that it's like she has a pet that cleans up for her.

I've often thought one of those would be really cool. Just do whatever you're doing while your chores do themselves!

There's a lawn-mowing version of the same sort of thing too. What a great idea! You put up little markers or strings or something, I forget, to show it the boundaries, and bingo your whole lawn gets cut!

These things sounds really really cool. Huge time savers, plus, well, just energy savers. If you've got kids tracking in and out of the house all the time, I could see the roomba vacuum cleaner being a huge help.

Isn't that why you got married in the first place --- so your carpets would automatically get vacuumed

Ok, i just ordered one.

Also look under the "which roomba" section for great advice on which one is right for you. An excellent scientific analysis of your needs wants and cheapness.

I've seen two reviews of this device, and both said it did a terrible job.
