KQ in CO, too much chase!
I know i played this hand poorly, im really just looking for advice on the flop and turn. Or anything else that sucks about it I rarely chase with a hand like this but for some reason I couldn't convince myself to lay this down. Stack sizes were about 65 for me and 35 or so for villain. Does anyone fold this flop, the turn i feel should have been an automatic fold, but is my flop call ok?
Blinds .25/.5 PRE-FLOP Villain Limps from EP, EP+2 limps, VERY LAG MP raises to $2, Hero calls with in CO [K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]], Button calls, 1 limper calls. FLOP - 4 players ($8.75) board cards 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img],A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img],J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Villain Bets 4$, LAG MP folds, Hero calls, Button calls. (20.75) TURN 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain bets $7, Hero calls $7, Button folds. (34.75) RIVER 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villain is all in for $24, Hero Folds. the more i think about it, the more i HATE my preflop call, even if im certain i had the raising MP LAG beat |

Re: KQ in CO, too much chase!
why not raise the flop?
he obviously doesn't have the flush. |

Re: KQ in CO, too much chase!
Thanks, I kinda blocked on this hand. Woulda made my decision much easier on the turn, or right then if he came over the top . And free card on turn maybe so I like betting flop. Ill assume a raise to 10-12 would be alright, since he would be at a decision for his stack.
thanks for help |

Re: KQ in CO, too much chase!
typically I would fold preflop even against a lag.
And I'm not even sure the raise the flop is the best line but I think its better than calling down. |

Re: KQ in CO, too much chase!
Actually I'm fine with the call down. You weren't getting exact pot odds to catch the straight / flush, but close enough if you factor in implied odds.
Or you could raise him on the flop, fold to push. Check through if he calls. |
