confession
Forgive me Phil Ivey,
For I have sinned. It has been three months since my last confession, and I need your strength for I have been weaktight. I acted as a calling station, and was seen as a nut peddler in an unfamiliar game. When my raises recieved too much respect, I did not loosen up and utilize this advantage. Instead, I found myself not properly raising premium hands preflop, and in such, allowing many limpers into flops. I have allowed my opponents to steal from me pots that were not theirs. I watched the cards on the board, and not the players I played against. I tried to play tight, but worse, I played scared. The worst sin I committed was in my realization of this, I did not leave. I was vain, I was greedy, I was gluttunous(especially concerning my over use of a mighty fine shrimp platter) and in so, I committed all of the sinful weaknesses that ruin my game.
