Default River Question

Party Poker 15/30 Hold'em (10 handed)

UTG+2 is a 62.5 VPIP 18% PFR 2 AGG
Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $15.
2 folds, UTG+2 raises, 1 fold, Hero 3-bets, 5 folds, UTG+2 calls.

Flop: (8.66 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+2 checks, Hero bets, UTG+2 calls.

Turn: (5.33 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+2 checks, Hero bets, UTG+2 calls.

I'd like comments on any part of the hand, but thought the only real question came up on the river. This seemed to be about the worst card for me.
The range of hands that I could put him on were:
AT, AJ, QJ, QT, 99?
JJ, KJ?, AQ, JT
With a chance that the top hands caught their backdoor flush.

Two questions, have I missed any hands and if those hands are approx right, should I have tried a value bet on the end?

River: (7.33 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+2 checks, Hero bets, UTG+2 raises, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 11.33 BB
Main Pot: 11.33 BB, between Hero and UTG+2. > Pot won by UTG+2 (11.33 BB).

Results in white below:
UTG+2 has Qh As (straight, ace high).
Hero has Qc Qs (one pair, queens).
Outcome: UTG+2 wins 11.33 BB.

i bet here since a lot of the hands you describe will call a bet they would check through if checked, but im folding to a raise since almost every hand that beats you will raise on this river.

I think you have the range of hands you can put him on pretty much covered

I don't understand why you called that river check-raise. He's not bluffing.

I think your range of hands is WAY too narrow for a player with the given stats. This is an easy river value bet, IMO. The only question is whether or not you should call his CR. My instinct says no, but I can't imagine that it's that bad to call there.

On reflection I agree with this.

That's a very good point ... and the reason I'm beating the 15/30 game, but not able to beat it consistently and for a lot of money. I've gotta work on places like that.

I had the right range of hands down (I think), so I made the correct decision (again, I think) and value bet the river. However, not one of the hands I put him on that I can beat would check-raise me, so I've gotta fold to the river raise.

Thanks everyone
