Default Poker Tracker error - anyone seen it before

When I try to remove an alias I get the following error:

********
Database Error - Updating GAME_PLAYERS

-1033 - SQLSTATE = S1000
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] File sharing lock count exceeded. Increase MaxLocksPerFile registry entry
********

Anyone familiar with this? I found several MaxLocksPerFile registry entries under the Jet database engine folders, and under Money folders. I don't suppose it could hurt much to bump up those values ... any thoughts?

I don't have the latest patch yet, and I'm a little concerned that the PT forum is down after supposedly being hacked ... anyone know anything about that? I guess Pat would be sure that he isn't distributing a hacked download?

Thanks in advance,

B.

i wouldnt be concerned about the updates. forums get "hacked" all the time by lame script kiddies, which looks like the case with PT. i doubt whoever did it has enough skill to get into the main website and bother to changing the update files, and i'm sure pat probably has ckecked all that.
