I think it's all very player dependant. If it was me on the button I would have had A9 or two red overcards. My guess here however; no idea. Let's say the player is reasonable, Ad9d. Let's say regular player, 88.

I'm surprised that most people are convinced the button has a 9 or overs/flush draw here. A bunch of limpers have checked to him on a 9-9-2 board. I can imagine a lot of bad players making this bet with all sorts of hands. It seems like the more pressing reason to fold is your 8s are too easily beaten if ahead. Hypothetically speaking, if I held JJ and was suddenly in the same situation, I would definitely shove.

The guy was a complete clown to call you with 33. I think in most cases here you are beaten, or at the very least behind to a strong draw. I'm dumbfounded that he called all-in when virtually any two cards were ahead of him here.

I'd have to disagree, in most cases I'm up against 33-77 (30 hands), TT-JJ (12 hands). I think he's bluffing here more often than he's holding two overcard hearts (10 hands).

He holds a 2 here a reasonable amount of the time aswell.

Typically a bluff, a 2, or 33-77, would lay down here.

Only my opinion,

Zephyr
