Default KJo in MP3, last hand, I swear - how do you approach the turn?

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
3 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Hero calls, 2 folds, SB completes, BB raises, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, Hero calls, SB calls.

Flop: (9 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB bets, MP2 raises, Hero 3-bets, SB folds, BB caps, MP2 folds, Hero calls.

What's your thinking here? How do you proceed if (Assume BB bets out no matter what):
a) You don't improve.
b) You catch a K.
c) You catch a J.

i would probably toss this preflop.

a. fold
b. raise
c. raise

i'd rather catch a jack than a king b/c i'd be scared of AK. a jack would be sweet on the turn because you're ahead of most everything except the very unlikely KK, if he's got AK, you're in trouble and another king will only hurt you more. hope to catch a jack and then a blank on the river.

a) check-call.
b) check-raise, fold to a 3-bet.
c) check-raise and cap if you can.

I'd raise preflop. KJo is muck/raise for me.

Why would anyone raise when you hit a K? You've only improved against AA. Once I hit trips I'm just looking for a showdown; if he checks to me, of course I bet. I'm still behind to KQ/AK here, though.

I'd raise if I hit a J.

KJo is still a hand i'm trying to get a handle on, and in this case, I don't think I could have bought the button if he or the CO wanted to play for 1 bet -- so mucking may be the best play in that situation.

I'm also confused about the advice when another K hits -- what could BB have that he'd cap the flop and lead the turn if he was scared of a K, besides AA?

What I'm saying is that BB doesn't have AA the majority of the time he raises preflop, caps the flop, AND leads another K on the flop. I think a J is a much better card for you than a K.

Also, against the sort of opponent who is going to bet into you when the K pairs, if your hand is good, he won't call your raise very often. [b]If[b] you get raised, your hand is almost never good.
