Default Very Basic Stats Keeping Question

I use StatKing to keep my basic stats for all my online and B&M play.

I recently started multi-tabling. How do you figure the hours? If I play 2 tables for 1 hour, do you record that as 2 hours or 1 hour? I guess there's no reason it shouldnt't be two hours, right?

Thanks,

T

I suggest not tracking your $/hr directly. Track your $/hand and your hands/hr. This will still give you your hourly rate ($/hr = $/hand x hands/hr) if you want to know it, but by a more thorough and more meaningfull breakdown.

Thanks, crim. Poker Tracker keeps tracks of those $/hand stats for online play, so I have that. I use Statking just to track both online and B&M play, and there's no way to track $/hand, etc., in Statking.

Regards,

T

Where do you play online? Party Poker and Poker Room will both count your hands for you. This is as easy to check and checking the clock to count your hours.

There is a good chance that the Pit Boss from the B&M establishment where you play has a close idea how many hands the dealers can pump out in an hour. You could probably get a reasonable average from somebody there.

Good luck.

You're right, playing on two tables for one hour is the same amount of poker as playing on one table for two hours. It's tricky when only a per cent of your logged time is on two tables though. That's why I advocate $/hand as more meaningfull.
