I noticed that in your other thread people commented that they'd call if they had two pair or better in this hand. What about top pair? Suppose we had A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in this hand instead, with exactly the same action, is it still an easy fold?

I think that the problem there is you will check-call in other situations where you are good far more often than 20%

Great point. Important to remember that hands are not played in vacuums.

bet-folding is the best line

Without a doubt As I said, I just thought this was an interesting aside for my own curiosity.

Yes, I'm calling against a known LAG.

Will you check/call when it's a LAG or still bet/call?

bet-call, because most LAGs will call with a wide enough range of hands that merely trying to induce a bluff will be less profitable. If I had a slightly weaker made hand that check-calling against a LAG might be better.

I vote fold. Two players sticking around with straight/flush draws and an overcard, I think you rarely win.

Yeah, I'm admitting that in the real situation I wouldn't be able to bring myself to fold for one more bet, though sitting here in front of the screen I don't believe I have the odds. The one other reason for calling is that I don't ever want to make a habit of folding to one extra bet on the river. Even poor players might notice and start taking shots at me! Okay, cool. Its good taht you can differentiate. I think a lot of people that said they would fold would not have if they were playing the hand.
