Why I hate luck...
Why I hate luck...
It should be plain to see, it's not because luck hates me. It's not that I'm unlucky, even though I claim to be. The reason I can't stand it, is because it lets me off. I like to hide behind it, instead of being tough. It's an easy out for me, whenever I play poor. Why is truth so hard to see? There is no luck in this war! Just a little poem for all of us who like to claim we were unlucky... only to look at our pokertracker results and cry at how poorly we played. Written after a 75BB loss due to, yes, poor play. Re: Why I hate luck...
I wish more people accepted responsibility for their losses. You have taken the indispensable first step toward becoming a winning player.

Re: Why I hate luck...
I think that I have average luck and I think that EVERYONE has average luck. You might be unlucky one day and lucky the next, but in the long run, it will all even out. My friends claim that I have the best luck. But they don't realize that much of my winnings are attributed to good play and not good luck. Maybe that's why they don't like playing poker with me...LOL.
