Specific types of bets in online tournies
How do people feel when an opponent makes a bet for exactly the amount you have, even if it is an odd number? In most online tournies it seems that people will just move the sliding thing over but not really care about the exact amount. What if there are four people in the pot, you have the 2nd fewest chips of those three, and the guy with the most bets exactly all of your remaining chips? Do you think it is a sign or strength or weakness?

Re: Specific types of bets in online tournies
You may want to try asking this in one of the tournament forums here. My thought is that it's not really important except that it is a message aimed directly at you to get out of the pot. Personally, if there are others in the hand still, I will make whatever normal bet I would anyway (pot size, all-in, some bet/raise). But, if it's HU, I may give a bet the size of the person's remaining stack rather than just all-in. No particular reason. I don't think it is a sign of weakness nor of strength.

I consulted my dictionary according to G. Yo. It said bet what ever the ^&$(&$^ you want.
Damn you smart. Word G |

I think a lot of bets like that are psychological. It may not tell of strength or weakness, but rather just a little psy-ops to scare you out of the pot by showing you that your faceless opponent has his eye on you.
