I'm still settling into 2/4. My instincts might be a bit off kilter. Do we bet this river, and are we happy folding to a c/r? Even if it comes from a shortstacked MP2? Input is appreciated.

I think its a bet. Not many players are waiting till the river to checkraise top pair. What you are worried about is the flush. Would they wait to the river to checkraise a flush? Its quite possible. I'd take the cheap showdown. Anything that can beat you they are calling/check raising with.

Bet. It doesn't look like anyone has top pair. You will get calls from lower pairs (e.g., a J). I don't think a flush is waiting until the river to raise and then checkraising instead of betting, so I don't fear a flush.

I wouldn't fold to a checkraise, but I pay off a lot of checkraises, so I'm not the best source. [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]
