Default My half assed Crypto plan... and other bonus musings

Greetings all,

I've decided to take a run at the monthly Crypto bonuses - seeing as it is the end of Novemeber I figure I can catch this and next month's. I've already cleared the $90 at Interpoker and will be moving on to the next (likely William Hill). I'm not sure if I have all of the sites covered so I'll list them below (along with what I understand the bonuses to be). If there are any additions corrections or comments, they would be appreciated.

Interpoker - 90/mnth for 450 hands
Carribean Sun - 40/mth
Poker Plex - 50/mth
Total Bet - 25/mth
UK Betting - 25/mth
William Hill - 25/mth

A few queries....

1) A few of the sites require you to play 5 hours in order to clear the bonus. Is this time accumulated per table? - in other words, will I clear the bonuses quicker by muti-tabling. What if I play less than an hour? Do the minutes carry over?

2) Bonuses are usually listed in pounds. Does a 25 pound bonus simply net you 25 Canadian (or US), or do they factor the conversion?

3) One last question (not related to crypto). I have PP installed on my box, can I also install Empire for their bonus? I've read various comments on this with varying answers. Some claim yes, some no, some state you have to remove a registry key to do so. Is there a definitive response on this topic?.

My plan for the next month is to continue playing 1/2 and to clear the Crypto bonuses for Nov/Dec. Also I'm going to take advantage of the 15% reload bonus at Pokerroom (and hopefully take advantage of the bonus at Empire depending on the response to the question above).

I'm not desperate to pick up any other bonuses - but if I'm missing something juicy and obvious could someone fill me in. I'm not interested in casino play because, well... I'm a terrible blackjack player and don't care to get any better...

Anyhow, I'm kind of rushing through this because the wife is pushing me out the door to go buy a Christmas tree - so hopefully this doesn't read as though it was typed in crayon...

Thanks folks,

Wyers

(BTW - I also have accounts at Paradise and Pacific so those bonuses are long gone)

i know your not interested in black jack, but the bonus at Reef club and 888 casino is unreal. 100% up to $200 and its easy to clear. It has an EV of $180 or so (i believe...see homers post) Just print up a stragey chart, and clear your bonus.....made me some extra xmas money this way.

Yeah. I took a look at the Reef Bonus and read all of Homer's posts on the topic. Tempting but I may wait until the middle of next month. My bankroll is just over a thousand so I'm not sure if I want to risk a fifth of that on blackjack - a game I'm not overly familiar with.
When I'm through with the Crypto bonuses maybe I'll take a shot at it.

Thanks though,

Wyers

Complete list of Cryptos can be found at http://www.wagerlogic.com/clients/client2.html although note that some don't allow 'Merikan players, Littlewood's no longer do monthly bonuses and Betfair only does signup not a monthly.

IME the Cryptos have got a lot tougher lately and are at their toughest at the start and end of the month as they are full of whores doing their bonuses. Best wait to the middle of the month and pick your time well (afternoon EST means you have lots of EuroFish who tend to play evenings Euro time).

Casino whoring is deadly dull but if you are looking to ratchet up a limited bankroll with minimum variance then Reef/CON and then the Crypto casinos will be quicker and more profitable. You could probably double your $1000 by Monday if you can stand teh mind numbing boredom of 2 days playing blackjack.

Hey Comedy. Thanks for the link to the Cryptos. I'm close to giving BJ a shot to take a run at the bonuses. I'm a little anxious though as I don't play the game and don't want to risk 1/5 of my bankroll.

I've read Homer's posts and have the link to the strategy chart... tempting....

You don't have to know anything about BJ, just follow the chart and bet small amounts if you don't want to risk anything. You shouldn't even come close to touching your deposit if you do $1 bets. Shouldn't is the keyword, it is potentially possible, but very unlikely.

A lot of posts in this thread, but I don't think anyone actually answered your questions:

1) Yes, on the 5 GBP/hr sites (Wm Hill, Totalbet, UKBetting) multitabling will clear the bonus faster. No, you don't get screwed if you leave a table after 55 minutes. It's just a total of 5 table-hours, however you do it.

2) Wm Hill, Totalbet, and UKBetting have bonuses in pounds. The others are dollars. TB and UKB accounts are denominated in pounds, and you get 5 GBP after each hour you complete. Wm Hill can have accounts in dollars, but you still collect 5 GBP/hour, a little more than $9. (Actually, there are reportedly some people who do have dollar accounts at WH that get only $5/hour. I don't think there's ever been a consensus on what makes their accounts different-- I know I get the $9+ per hour.)

Note that on all of these, they don't count your hands or hours until you get up from the table, so don't bother trying to check your balance while at the table to see if the bonus has kicked in.

3) Yes, you can install and play at Empire (or another Party skin) if you follow the directions to remove the registry key (at least until they decide to hide it somewhere else). Or you can find a clean computer to sign up from and then use that account to play on your regular computer.

A related William Hill question...

How do I sit down at a table without my whole bankroll? Each time I try and sit down, it takes my whole bankroll to the table and I can't play at more than 1 table.

1) Correct. If you play on 4 tables at once then you can clear the 5-hour bonus in about 1-hour and 15-mins.

2) I get paid in pounds. Which is about $9/hr for a total of $45. Not bad.

3) The topic of signing-up at Empire (or other party skins) has been brought up several times.
You will need to uninstall the party client (and perhaps fiddle with the registry thing...maybe not) and you might need to do it from a different ISP (perhaps a hi-speed internet-coffee place).
Some of us have accounts at 3 or 4 different party places (party, empire, intertops, multi, coral/eurobet)
