Default How is everyone doing at 2/4?

I just started playing limit after reading SSH (previously played NL) and currently 4-table 2/4 at Party... and was wondering what kind of cash people are making there... I dont have PT yet so I dont know my BB/100 - but in the 20 hours I've played so far I have averaged $40/h (with some sessions where I won $500 and some where I lost $200... so currently I don't think this is a very reasonable estimate )

a reasonable winrate for you to hope for would be from 2 BB/100 to 3 BB/100. that would net you $20-$30 an hour. $40 an hour at 4 tables probably isn't sustainable for anyone but the absolute best

PArty 2/4 is incredibly soft. $40/hr 4 tabling is too high. I think an expert might make in the low 30s. Also, you can't determine win rates until massive numbers of hands. 20 hrs is microscopic.

I pulled off a solid $4.50 an hour for my first 15k hands I'm pretty sure some of that was adjusting to the new limit and some of that was cold cards...but my last few thousand hands have been more in line with the $25-35 4-tabling.

You dont think its possible to make more than 3/100 at 2/4? I was under the impression that more than one or two here were achieving, say, 3.5/100.

Surely if the max is 3/100 at 3/6 its gotta be a little higher at 2/4. From my limited 3/6 experience it seemed the increase in average Villan skill level was not huge but at least noticable.

I was 4+ BB/100 from my old 2/4 days, over like a 35K hand sample. I could easily have been running well, but I'm also a better player now, so the usual winrate interpretation caveats apply.

I don't want to beat my chest too much here, but after 11,000 hands at 2/4 I've managed to average over.....

What's that you say? Only 11K hands? Crap, that's a good point, I'd better go play some more.

I'll check back in another 100 hours or so.

As usual, posts stating how much people earn per /100 BB is again overrated.
