Default Blinds are killing me?

So I'm playing around with the "Known Starting Hands" filters in Poker Tracker:

4724 hands at Stars 0.25/0.50 for a gain of only 33.1 BB (this includes a really ugly downswing over the last 2500 hands).

806 hands VPIP from any position for a gain of 176.7 BB - good, good.

180 hands VPIP from the blinds for a gain of 40.9 BB - nice.

1030 hands from the blinds regardless of VPIP for a loss of (102.7 BB) - ouch.

850 hands no money in from the blinds for a loss of (143.6 BB) - WTF?

So I'm losing nearly 10 BB per 100 times in a a blind, including hands I've actively contested?

Is this good? Bad? Normal?

I don't follow all the numbers you posted, but you're losing 0.1 BB/hand in the blinds on average?

I don't think ANYONE can make money in the blinds. I looked at the Pokerroom EV stats for 10-handed limit HE and come up with an average blind EV of -0.19 BB.

This is for an average player. Average players are losing players, but your loss is half of this. Seems pretty good to me.

However, 4724 hands is nowhere near enough to determine your overall winrate, much less your winrate by position.
