Don't forget to ask for an additional bonus if you haven't played in Paradise for a while:

I asked two days ago and worked off my requested reload bonus yesterday.

I'm ready for the Thanksgiving bonus coming up too.

Can I grab the bonus and not make a deposit?

Can bonuses be queued up and can you work them off without making a deposit?

I am playing off of an initial freeroll and have yet to make a deposit to Paradise.

Thanks

swede

I have random avatars. If you keep hitting refresh a few more should show up.

You can queue up the bonuses but you must make a deposit to take advantage of the bonus. Since it's 10% to $50 you need to deposit $500 to take full advantage of the Turkey bonus code.

There are some reasonably good points in this thread, particular the fact that Paradise's bonus clearance time is infinity squared, and that's good.

I hereby retract the sentiment of my other post in this thread.

I do play Paradise, so why shouldn't I put $500 Neteller dollars to work at Paradise, even if I don't get to it immediately? It's...FREE MONEY, eventually, at least.

Man, I love 2+2.

OTOH, i have almost 1k in pending bonuses at UB and may never play there again.

I have you beat. I still have $2.8k in pending bonuses there.
Like you, I'm not sure if/when I'll ever get around to clearing it away.

I'm sure this has been beat to death, but why does everyone hate UB so much around here?

I have earned three times as much at UB this year than at any other site, and that's NOT including a really big score at UB in January, which would push it up to like, uh, a lot more times higher.

Anyway, what gives? Why all the hatin?

Well the first and only time I played there I went on a horrible losing streak, so I've never bothered with the site again. Plus it's a big pain in the ass to request HH, but now with the new tool and a month break I'll give it another shot soon enough.

I didn't get this e-mail, probably because I'm outside the US. Does it matter, or can I simply reload and use the turkey code?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm sure you can.

You're right about HH's, but on the other hand, the immediate hand history feature that you get might offset that problem. I mean, UB will show you players' folded cards at showdown as quickly as you can click the button. There's something to be said for that.

For me, the big attractions are the 30/60 and 80/160 triple draw tables, the 15/30, 30/60, and 80/160 holdem games, and the Krazy Kanuck Sunday $500 tourney.

I am also in the minority of folks who actually PREFER their software, lobby excluded. The table software is the nuts--perspective-justified and definitely faster than anybody else.

I don't know. I see a lot at UB that makes me want to ditch Stars.

But somehow, I don't.

Go figure.

Why all the hatin?

speaking only for myself of course,

2 reasons..

1. lately i really only have time for one site and paradise is my home

2. if i do venture off paradise, it is to party. i am lifetime ahead about $100 at UB (out of THOUSANDS of hours since they opened), and lifetime down $2k or so at stars. i.e. i can't beat UB or stars like potty and paradise so why bother playing there if the bonus $$ don't mean much to me.

i love the software tho. hate the mini view, but love the rest.
