Need some advice from HDTV folks...
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...;sku=s452-2700
Is this any good, especially for the price? Remember the price is in CDN dollars, so lop off a couple hundred... I need a new tv and don't know where to start. Thoughts? -Diplomat |

Price looks good but...
I've never heard of the brand so that counts it out for me. |

Re: Need some advice from HDTV folks...
I was in circuit city the other day and there was a 27" LCD tv from Apex for less then 1100. I'm not a fan of the brand, but i have to say....the picture was pretty damn good. If you have one near you I would recommend you take a look. I wouldnt buy a tv without first seeing it in action.

Re: Need some advice from HDTV folks...
Do you need LCD? Circuit city has a panasonic 32" HDTV for about $800, it's bulky, but has a great picture.

Yeah, unfortunately I do. I'm in an 800-sq foot condo with a closet for a living room.

Re: Need some advice from HDTV folks...
No way there is a panasonic 32 LCD for 800. Plus LCD = thin by design. Can't be bulky. I just checked the website and the 32 inch LCD is around 3300. The 800 dollar one is just a regualar flat tube.

Here's one blurb:
http://www.engadget.com/entry/1234000927021097/ Google is your friend: http://www.google.com/search?q=OLEVIA That being said, I'd be more concerned about ordering from Tiger Direct than the manufacturer. |
