Default Are rakebacks worthwhile?

Some months back I signed up for a bunch of different poker sites to see which ones or one I would like to play on.

Then I discovered this place and started to read about a thing called rakebacks. Since I doubt the sites will let me email them and give them a code after signing up...When I eventually do start to play the microlimits with rakes will me trying to get a rakeback somewhere somehow be worth trying for? Or just take it as a minor loss? Since it seems as if, granted, its not a lot. But it will add up over time.

Luckily I haven't signed up for Empire yet, so I suppose I can always play there instead of Party or Intertops...

Default Re: Are rakebacks worthwhile?

It really all depends on what limits you play and how often you do play. If you play .5/1 1000 hands a month, with a rakeback deal, you wouldn't be getting much back. Others will look at it though that any money is good money.

If you do play on Party and Intertops though, it probably is worth it to use Empire with a rakeback deal since you'll be creating a new account for the 1st time on Empire. Also, you should have an Empire account for bonus whoring alone if not using it for regular play.
