Default Turn straight, river pairs board in ginormous pot.

Party 3/6, new to the table, no real reads yet.

Hero is BB with 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

UTG limps, UTG+1 raises, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Hero calls (questionably), UTG calls

Flop (10 SBs) 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] About as good as I could have hoped for, though I'm not in love with my diamond draw.

Hero checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 bets, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, hero raises, UTG calls, UTG+1 3-bets, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, Hero calls, UTG caps, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls, Hero calls. Crikey, what have I gotten into? I put UTG+1 on AA/KK/AK, but why did UTG limp/call/cap?

Turn (13.5 BBs) 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] The Star-Spangled Banner is going off in his head, Vince.

Hero checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 bets, MP2 calls, hero raises, UTG calls, UTG+1 3 bets , MP2 calls, Hero caps, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls.

River (29.5 BBs) 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Much cursing. Hero...?

Check/call figuring someone must have filled up, or is there value in betting out? Also, any comments on flop and turn play?

Default Re: Turn straight, river pairs board in ginormous pot.

edited to reflect my inability to read.

I check/call the river. If you bet you are getting raised by the fullhouse, but the pot is still so huge you will have to call. Its also unlikely to get checked through, so you wont miss out on any value if you do indeed have the best hand still.

flop and turn play are very standard. As is the preflop call.
