Party 5/10 is a really swingy game. I'd suggest a bigger bankroll than usual. Or just skipping that limit altogether.

if you plan on moving up in the poker world i strongly suggest you do NOT skip this level. how swingy do you think 10/20 and 15/30 are?

No clue, I don't play those limits. I've spoken with several people (some who are regular posters here) though who have had trouble with Party 5/10.

*shrug*

If it's that tough a game, why bother? I didn't necessarily mean skip it on your way to 15/30, but maybe just play more tables of 3/6. That's what I do. Then again, I don't play for a living.

Sorry for being so vague. I should have said a buyin of $250 at 5/10, which would be 25BB. I guess that is not so bad when I say it that way. I have never played live. Sorry for the bad wording. I just have not experienced losing buyins so often online in the prior levels. Not sure if it is because the competition is better, I am worse, the swings are worse, or I am going through a dry spell.
