A question regarding the Fundamental Theory of Poker
Just FYI, this question is in regards to this thread.
ugh, I hate this hand, somone tell me if I'm stooopid Also, in homage to our illustrious leader, I already feel I know the answer, but (unlike our leader) I hope to learn something and possibly have my answer proven wrong. Say, on the flop, your opponent(s) would be correct to call a bet, and if you bet the flop, the pot will be large enough to make calling a turn bet correct if a blank falls. If you do not bet the flop, and then bet the turn, they will not have the odds to call a bet. You may assume any hypothetical situation you want, no matter how contrived, as long as it follows those guidelines What is the correct play? |

Re: A question regarding the Fundamental Theory of Poker
Is your hand vulnerable like in the previous thread, or very strong, like a set?

Re: A question regarding the Fundamental Theory of Poker
[ QUOTE ]
if a blank falls [/ QUOTE ] The key variable here is the probability of this happening, as in, how many blanks are there in the deck... Most of the time you should be betting here though, as long as you expect to win more than your share of pots. |
