I agree in general that you should be careful about STDs. However you are definitely wrong about syphillis. It can be cured as well as treated.

That 1 in 4 for herpes just blows me away. I have a hard time believing it. Not that I can prove otherwise, but it just doesn't click for me.

Also, it's funny that there's a huge social stigma attached to a disease that a quarter of our adult population has...
