Default Re: Empire $50K Guaranteed...

If I can stop my hands from shaking for just a moment, I'd like to say thanks to all who showed to route me on.

But an even bigger thanks goes out to these forums. Since I discovered this site about 2 years ago, my game has really transformed into something I am very proud of.

That would not have been possible without the great authors here, and all of the veteran posters who share such a wealth of information each and every day. I haven't posted much, but believe me, I read every day.

By far the biggest payday of my career.

Thanks again so much, and please forgive if the above is a little rambling and incoherent... I need a drink.

night all,

Will

Sorry I wasn't able to stay up....crashed-out with 16 players left or so.
Congrats on the nice score.

As I mentioned before, I won the whole thing the first time I played it on Sept 13 so I am familiar with the feeling. Prior to winning the 12.5k I believe my previous highest single-tournament prize was $215 (and I was pretty damn excited about that too).

To improve your short-handed play for WHEN (not if) you make the final-table again you should play a bunch of SNG's.
Even the $10 SNG's against lousier competition will help your short-handed play immensely.

Not to mention that SNG's are actually pretty fun too.

I played a zillion SNG's (6-player and 10-player) on UB during their promotion in July. My game really improved through just playing those things over and over.
