Chasing.......
Here's one from the weekend, I'm having an argument about my flop call:
Hero posts in the CO, all suits in this hand are irrelevent: Hero gets 76o in the CO PF: UTG folds LP limps MP limps Hero checks BT folds SB completes BB checks Flop: 952r (4sb) SB bets BB calls LP folds MP folds Hero calls There's 6 sb in the pot when I call 1. If I hit my 8, that will almost certainly be the best hand, barring some miracle for another player. I close the action, if I hit I'll bet or raise, and opponents will either fold or pay me. If I miss, I'll just fold.. I'm short on pot odds, but have good implied odds if I hit. Is this worth the chase? |

Re: Chasing.......
it seems very close that you'll get the extra 2.25 BB you need to make up for the fact that you're drawing to an 10.75-1 shot with 6-1 odds. if you have a good read that SB will keep betting, and would pay you on the river, (or that he and BB would pay you off if you raised the turn right away), then you can call. I never have that good a read on that kind of thing, I'd fold this.

Re: Chasing.......
looks good closing the action, especially since the turn will be so easy to play.

Re: Chasing.......
This seems like an easy fold. The pot is small, and with only two opponents there's no guarantee you'll get paid off if you hit your gutshot.

Re: Chasing.......
The problem with this one is that SB might not have a real hand to pay you off with and you might not be able to make up 2.25 BB. Still it is close and calling cant be too bad.
