You got out of the hand when you were most likely behind, and hit an unlikely card on the river that would have won you the pot if you stayed in. However, if you stayed in, on the turn you'd be a 24:1 underdog to win the pot..why would you want to be calling a bet (or two) on the turn with those odds?
